Driveway/Roadway Evaluations

A.
Basilick Vacation Residence - 2600 linear feet of steep gravel drive evaluated to settle a court case.  Included repair requirements and drainage inspection.
B.
Seven Glens HOA - Visual inspection and report of more than 7 miles of roads.

Task Closing Example Projects:

A.
Hasentree Golf Community - More than 30 BMP ponds consisting of dry ponds, wet ponds, and bioretention ponds required very detailed conformance review.  Items reviewed included, but weren’t limited to, surface area, slopes, critical elevations, spillway widths, outlet dimensions/material/slopes, drawdown orifices, trashrack construction, bottom drain installation, drainage basin flow increase/reduction, anti-seep installation, outlet dissipation methods, and emergency spillway construction and dimensions.
B.
Chapel Ridge Golf Community - With over 50 water quality ponds in the first couple of phases, and with time of the essence, I was brought in to work with the managing engineer and complete the final analysis of these structures to allow for project closure and final certification.  Services included design calc review, structure inspection for establishment of final analysis methodology, and final analysis.
C.
Blueberry Lane Sand Mine Permit #71-47 - Multiple short term milestones for this project needed to be completed, including permit modifications.  I was chosen to develop necessary exhibits and calculations, and to complete regulatory documentation to achieve approvals to ensure the continued progress of the project.

Total Project Turnaround Examples:

A.
The Legacy at Jordan Lake - A 6-acre Decorative pond also serving as a water quality structure required a complete design and plan preparation while coordinating design efforts with geotechnologist and structural engineer.  This project included a large, cast-in-place outlet structure and a 20+ foot high dam with designed breech point.
B.
Stephenson Road Waste Transfer Site - 1.6 Acre Site plan with grading, stormwater design and review, erosion control with Express Review approval secured in 1 day, utility service, dry pond BMP, landscaping, and driveway permit.
